Matt Hansen Phoenix Concert reviews
I cried thrice.
Matt Hansen live brings a soul that can't be captured by digital means. He is amazing. His falsetto gives you the chills and his vocal range is spectacular. His charm and humor come through between songs, letting you get to know his personality. You realize how amazing of a lyricist he is, especially for a song as fun and intentionally silly as Dynamo of Volition. He has amazing chemistry with Raining Jane, as if you're sitting in on one of their jam sessions - a treat for music lovers. While some songs on his tracks may seem melancholy or poppy, if you have the chance to see him in concert, he will deliver. You not only listen to his music, but you begin to cry. I said three times, two songs of which are on his latest Yes album. That was my first time listening to those songs too. 10/10 would see again.
